MAGNESS ADVENTURE CAMP: JULY 9th - 11th

The warm summer weather may seem far away, but now is the time to start looking forward towards Magness Adventure Camp. For new members of the Pack, Magness is the Denver Area Council Cub Scout camping facility in Elbert. They provide an exciting program that includes beautiful lake for swimming, archery, tomahawk, and BB Gun ranges, canoes, boating, crafts, nature, and a whole lot more. Not only are the activities fun, but many are also geared towards rank advancement, so attending camp will get you a head start on next year.

There are multiple three day sessions that you can attend between June and July. While you can attend any session that works best for your family, the Pack has reserved spots for Session 8, July 9th-11th. We try to coordinate as many as possible to attend the same session as attending with friends is another thing that makes Magness memorable. While the spots are currently reserved, the Pack needs to hear from you to hold the spots. The deadline to register is March 25th. We must release any unclaimed spots we have reserved back to council after that date. If you register after the 25th, you can still come to session 8 if spots are available and a $10 late fee will apply.

Magness is a family camp, so bring everyone if you like. If you have a son entering 1st grade in the fall, they can attend as a Tiger! At least one parent or guardian is required to attend with every scout.

Here's how to register:

Fill out the form below. Please submit ONE FOR EACH attendee! If you want to attend a session other than Session 8, please still register below and we'll get back to you so we can try to find a session that works for you. It is too great an experience to pass up. A $25 deposit per person is required for us to hold the spots. You can bring a check to a pack meeting, pay via PayPal here on the website, or email treasurer@pack872.com to find out how to mail a check or pay by credit card. The balance will be due in June. More information regarding medical forms and what to bring will come later.

The most important thing right now is to take 2 minutes and register. Please do not register directly with council. Please contact outingschair@pack872.com if you have any questions.

Remember, all camps will require medical forms! Watch your email for details.
